“The community has endorsed a logo that shows a fox, that doubles as an open book, with its nose in a second book.

‘We wanted to create a new visual identity to go along with our new name,’ said Christine Cigler, the district’s manager of public relations and outreach.

The district worked with Des Plaines-based Graphic Solutions to create two logos to consider. The second logo featured an open book split by a road that led to three people. Graphic Solutions received $2,125 for the project.
People voted on the district’s Facebook page, on its website and through the district’s electronic newsletter to goes to 9,000 subscribers. The three-week campaign started in April.”
