“Recently, the H.G. Thode Library of Science and Engineering got a 42” monitor mounted from the ceiling just inside the entrance, which displays a rotation of slides. I wanted to create eye-catching and easy to read (at a distance) images that students could take in relatively quickly as they were walking in. I used a mix of fonts, including one of McMaster’s official brand fonts (Univers), and Cocogoose, a highly readable font (free for non-commercial use). Each of these is rotated through at about 20 seconds per slide. I created these slides in Photoshop.”
